Policies

It's essential to recognize that when appointments are forgotten or without adequate notice, our stylists miss the chance to fill that time, and other clients waiting for services are affected. To ensure fairness and respect for all our clients and professionals, booking appointments with Vanilla salons is governed by the following terms:

Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime 48 hours preceding the start time of your appointment.

  • If you do not cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and charged 50% price of the scheduled service(s).

  • As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent 48 hours in advance of appointments by both SMS and email to the contact information given at the time of booking. Failing to respond to these messages or not confirming your appointment does not count as cancelling your appointment. To avoid a cancellation fee of 50%, you must cancel your appointment more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time

  • Late arrivals will be charged the full price of the scheduled service(s) even if there is not enough time to render them.

  • We have a 20-minute grace period, during which we may not have the ability to honor an appointment, which could ultimately result in needing to reschedule your appointment with a "no-show" fee.

• • Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

Refund Policy

  • Vanilla Salon does not offer refunds. However, we are more than happy to make adjustments to technical errors. Examples of errors are: Bleed marks, Toner spots, Uneven cut. If you feel there was a technical error with your service, please reach out to us within 72 hours of your appointment, and we will happily get you in to make the necessary adjustments. Any adjustment requests made more than 72 hours after the order is placed will not be accommodated. Any adjustment would need to be scheduled no later than 7 days after notifying the salon, and needs to be with the original stylist.

  • If services are altered, removed, or adjusted by another salon or stylist, we are no longer able to assess, correct, or take responsibility for the original service.

 Extension Policy

  • A NON-REFUNDABLE retainer of 50% of the service total is due after the consultation and before booking. If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will forfeit your retainer.
    When rescheduling your new install appointment, your retainer will follow you.
    The retainer goes toward the total of your first appointment, with the remaining balance due the day of your appointment.

  • Vanilla Salon will only install the hair that we provided. We do not install client-provided hair

  • We get hair from 3rd party extension companies. Most companies have great terms for defective hair. We will work with you and the company to help resolve any issues to the best of our abilities. But ultimately, any guarantee would need to come from the hair manufacturer 

  • Certain sunscreens damage/ruin hair extensions and cause discoloration that is usually not reversible. It is up to each client to maintain their hair and be aware of how to do so properly. We will do all we can to save the hair, at a cost to the client, but WDS will not cover the cost of new hair if the client damages the hair. 

  • Results may vary based on natural hair texture, density, and maintenance. Blending, styling, and final results are subjective and discussed during consultation.

Lost or Stolen Items

  • At Vanilla Salon, we want to ensure that our clients have the best experience possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during your visit. Please keep in mind that we use dyes, chemicals, and hot tools, and color stains may be out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.

Product Refunds

  • If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, Vanilla salon offers a 30-day return policy with a receipt. We only offer exchanges for items of equal value, and if the cash refund is less than $10, we'll return the cash to you. Thank you for shopping with us!

Credit Card Deposit

  • Vanilla salon requires a $50 deposit on all services $300 and above or a service taking longer than 3 hours. Your card will be charges at the time of booking.

At Vanilla Salon, we are committed to providing high-quality services and ensuring our clients feel taken care of. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

Service Concerns

  • If you have any concerns regarding your service, you agree to contact your stylist or the salon within 48 hours of your appointment so we can properly assess and address the issue.

Right to Correct

  • You agree to allow your original stylist the opportunity to evaluate and correct any concerns before seeking services from another salon or stylist.

Third-Party Alterations

  • If services are altered, removed, or adjusted by another salon or stylist, we are no longer able to assess, correct, or take responsibility for the original service.

Accurate Representation

  • Reviews and public feedback should accurately reflect your direct experience with services received at Vanilla Salon. Posting misleading, false, or incomplete information, including reviews from individuals who did not receive services, may be subject to review removal through platform guidelines.

Non-Client Reviews

  • Reviews from individuals who did not receive a service at Vanilla Salon may be reported and removed in accordance with platform policies.

Communication Expectations

  • We are always open to resolving concerns directly and require communication prior to leaving public feedback so we have the opportunity to make things right.
